Work east of Kharanos where the snow is open and density stays light. Clear the immediate ground, then tame the polar bear.

An ordinary bear with a polar look. Take the small detour when the skin is worth it to you.

Send the bear first. Its armor and health buy time when a second mob joins the pull. Claw and Growl hold the target in place. Feed it fruit, fungus, bread, or honey.
Bear family
A reliable default for a Hunter. Armor, Growl, Claw, and a broad diet make the bear easy to keep stocked.
