Follow the level rail, choose the race or faction variant that matches your character, and leave when the named failure state begins.

      Tame Beast and the pet kit

      The three practice tames open Tame Beast. Finish the city trainer step for the pet-care kit before choosing a permanent pet.

        Before you leave
        • Reach level 10 and take the optional Hunter's Path breadcrumb to Yaw Sharpmane.
        • Keep the Taming Rod for each required practice beast.
        Travel risk
        The three practice beasts sit around the Bloodhoof Village layer before the final Thunder Bluff trainer trip.

        Failure state
        A second beast or patrol reaches the Hunter during the exposed tame channel and removes the open route back toward Bloodhoof Village.
        Safe exit
        Clear the target and adjacent lane, then slow with Concussive Shot before channeling. Cancel the tame and run toward Bloodhoof Village when another body turns.

        Clear toward Kharanos and slow the required beast before channeling. Cancel the tame on a second body and reset to the road.
