Warrior and Priest: Steady Pull Pace

A classic pair with stable threat, direct healing, and a pull pace set by Priest mana and Warrior control.

A tank and a healer

Warrior and Priest gives the pull a clear tank and healer. Warrior takes the targets, and Priest manages the health bars and mana needed for the next pull.

Give each player a role

  • Warrior chooses the pull location, groups enemies, and calls for a reset when the fight no longer deserves completion.

  • Priest manages sustain, peel support, and the pace that keeps Warrior within available mana.

  • Set the pace before caves, buildings, and elite camps. These areas leave less room to reset after a pull grows.

Where the pair fits

  • Elite quests where Warrior can hold threat while Priest heals through the damage.

  • Dungeon-heavy leveling where a stable healer and steady tanking set the pace.

  • Level bands where Warrior needs time to secure the next weapon upgrade.

Add a pull-control tool

Engineering plus Mining on Warrior adds bombs and Target Dummies for a widened pull. Priest can take Alchemy for sustain or Tailoring plus Enchanting for a caster gear and bag loop.

Do not overpull for the healer

A healer does not make a large pull safe. Priest mana is finite, and Warrior still needs a pull limit.

Call the reset

Stop when Priest mana is slipping or Warrior needs more support to hold the pull. Reset before the next pack enters the fight.

Watch the pace before health drops

In this duo, a slow mana recovery or a wider pull shows the pace problem before the health bars drop.
