Pull casters around a clear corner, then manage Springvale and Arugal with interrupts ready.

Pull back from stairs and doorways

Shadowfang Keep punishes bad corners, caster pressure, and poor line of sight. Bring interrupts, decurses when available, and enough recovery to avoid rushing. Stairs and doorways are reposition points. Pull back to a clear corner before fighting.

Key pulls and bosses

  • Worgen packs and Commander Springvale need marks and interrupts. Interrupt Springvale’s heals.

  • Arugal teleports and applies heavy shadow damage. Save mana and cooldowns for the end of the run.

  • Line-of-sight casters around a corner and fight after they walk into the room.

Each staircase needs its own reset

Pull back aggressively and interrupt the cast that matters. Reset the formation before each staircase and choose the next corner together.

Reset at every staircase

Each staircase needs a fresh pullback, mark, and retreat lane.

By class

Class angles from this page

Mage

Use Sheep, slows, and burst to shrink the room early. Control the Worgen or caster that makes the angle worse before the party reaches a doorway.

Paladin

Support the pullback, cleanse where available, and keep emergency tools for the room that breaks. Reset before each staircase.

Priest

Clear corners and caster priority give Priest time to stabilize SFK. Call the pull back when the group fights in doorways or widens the room.

Warlock

Set the pet stance, distribute Healthstones early, and choose Fear paths around the tank’s pull location. Narrow spaces make loose pet control expensive.
