Fight the staircase event from the top
Zul’Farrak’s staircase event can surround a party that fights from the bottom. Fight at the top. Let NPCs tank the first wave, group the rest for area damage, and single-target the casters.
Troll packs and Gahz’rilla
Witch Doctor adds heal and Hex. Kill healers first in troll packs.
On Gahz’rilla, position against a wall. The knockback into water separates the group from the boss.
Outdoor patrol paths wander. Pull toward cleared ground and keep the patrol lane in view.
Clear before the event
Full-clear to the stairs before starting. A leftover pack joining the waves can close the group’s only defensible position.
The top of the stairs holds the event
Fight at the top of the stairs. A group at the bottom can be surrounded by the waves.
