Panic adds decisions
Panic can turn one bad pull into several new decisions. Stop, create space, and choose one exit.
The reset happens in this order
Stop trying to finish the original kill.
Create space.
Use the potion, bandage, or class escape that buys the most space first.
Take the exit while it remains open.
Avoid these delays
Keep tunneling the original kill target.
Spend every button before moving.
Wait for the group to notice after you know the pull needs a reset.
Use words the group can act on
Use short calls the group can act on: “Back out.” “Runner left.” “Reset now.” “No more forward.”
Call early
Call the reset as soon as the pull stops following the plan. Earlier space gives every class more options.
