Ragefire Chasm: Early Pull Discipline

Cramped rooms, early toolkits, Taragaman, and Jergosh’s Immolate make RFC a dungeon that needs clear pull calls.

Name the next pull before the first

Ragefire Chasm is an early dungeon with narrow rooms and small toolkits. Confirm tank, marker, and who starts the next pull. Bring water and bandages. Use corners to force enemy casters into the room, then fight from a spot the healer and ranged can see.

Taragaman and Jergosh

Taragaman the Hungerer hits harder than the level band suggests. Jergosh the Invoker’s Immolate adds up quickly without a dispel. Small kits, rough threat, and cramped rooms leave little room to recover once the group has started pulling ahead of its mana.

Use each boss approach as a reset

  • Pull backward whenever the room allows it.

  • Let mana bars set the next pull.

  • Treat every boss approach as a reset point: drink, mark, and make the opener clean.

Treat the early kit carefully

RFC has narrow rooms, rough threat, and limited recovery tools. Pull it with the same reset discipline as a later dungeon.

By class

Class angles from this page

Hunter

RFC’s tight rooms and uneven early threat punish casual pet movement. A trained Beast Mastery pet can handle a planned target with the right stance and group plan. The corridor is too narrow for improvised movement.

Shaman

Early Shaman choices matter in RFC. Use utility to stabilize the room and cover Immolate pressure, then reset before the group moves faster.

Warrior

Drag the pull backward, set the group behind your pace, and keep the first room structured. Early threat still needs a clear pull location and a retreat lane.
