Eat between pulls
Food restores health between pulls without using mana. Roasted Boar Meat heals 61 HP over 18 seconds at level 5. Soothing Turtle Bisque restores about 875 HP and gives 8 Stamina and Spirit for 15 minutes at level 25. At 55+, Dirge’s Kickin’ Chimaerok Chops give 25 Stamina for 15 minutes. Stop and eat before moving into the next pull.
The recovery loop
Finish a fight below 80% HP and eat. The short sit beats natural regeneration and costs no mana.
At 50+, carry buff food for the level band you are entering. Chimaerok Chops give more health, and Dragonbreath Chili can add a fire cone on melee hits.
Hunters can cook Meat, Fish, and Bread for pets that eat them. A fed pet keeps threat and positioning cleaner when the pull splits.
Fishing supports the loop
Fish after a difficult pull, cook the catch, then move on. Fishing and Cooking turn a recovery pause into food for the next stretch.
Who benefits
Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, and Druid rely on recovery between pulls without a mana-based self-heal. Shaman also gets a dependable recovery loop from Cooking and Fishing.
Prepare for the next stretch
Eat before a long travel stretch, after a near miss, and whenever you want to rush. Start the next pull with full health.
